Atletico are top - but is backing Barcelona for La Liga

2014-05-15-barca-160.jpg It wasn’t that long ago that people had ruled Barcelona out of contention for La Liga, but Spain's reigning champions can now seal an unlikely title with a win against league leaders Atletico Madrid, and makes them favourites to achieve that feat.

Atleti are top of the table going into the final game, but that game is at Camp Nou against a Barcelona side just three points behind. The 0-0 draw between the two sides in January means victory for Tata Martino's Barça would see them named champions on the strength of their head-to-head record.

The hosts are 1.78 favourites for victory with bookmakers, with Atletico 4.20. Diego Simeone's side will know that a draw will see them named champions, and you can back that result at 3.55. However if the game ends 0-0 then GR88 will refund selected losing bets as part of its Nil-Nil Money Back Offer. Full details are available at

A few hundred miles west, another big game will be taking place at England's famous Wembley Stadium, as Arsenal take on Hull City in the FA Cup Final. Arsenal finished more than 10 places ahead of their opponents in the league, and are 1.24 to lift the trophy and 1.43 to see off Hull in 90 minutes.

Steve Bruce's side are outsiders, but anything can happen in a final and they could be worth backing at 4.00 (or 6.80 in 90 minutes). You can also get odds of 4.00 with that the game finishes level after 90 minutes and goes into extra time.
