Thunderbolt Casino Takes Part in 67 Minutes Campaign with R40,000 Donation to Isithembiso Babies Home

Last year, South Africa’s Thunderbolt Casino's donation to the 67 Minutes Campaign provided food to orphans – 67 VitaMeal bags, each one enough to feed a child for a month. This year, the South African online casino has donated R40,000 to the Isithembiso Babies Home in Port Elizabeth, to help them provide care for children under 3 who need it most.

“We believe that the generous spirit of the caring people at Isithembiso is the embodiment of the lessons we learned from the inspiring leader we celebrate every July 18th,” said Thunderbolt’s manager, Alisa. “His challenge to us was to better our world. Helping children get the start they deserve seems like a good way to do that.”

Isithembiso Babies Home officially opened its doors in Port Elizabeth, South Africa in November 2005. The vision for this home was birthed in the heart of Bradley Verreynne – Lead Elder of Oxygen Life Church in Port Elizabeth.

Isithembiso provides a safe place for children under 3 year who have been abandoned, abused or neglected. They are nurtured, loved and helped to develop their physical, emotional and cognitive abilities. Isithembiso works hand-in-hand with social services to place each precious child with a foster or adoptive home or reunite them with their families.

“It’s important to be generous,” said Alisa. “I want to thank each of our players for making it possible for us to contribute to such worthy organizations.”

One of South Africa’s most popular online casinos, Thunderbolt offers hundreds of slots and table games from Realtime Gaming. Many are also available in the mobile casino for smartphones and tablets. All are played in Rands and customer service is in both English and Afrikaans.
