Tickets are now on sale for the fifth annual British Poker Awards, held at the Hippodrome Casino in London’s West End on February 23rd.

Organisers Bluff Europe have opened the event to the poker-loving public once more, with tickets available to purchase from the Hippodrome website. This year’s ceremony, sponsored by Unibet, is sure to attract some of the biggest names in the game for an unforgettable night.

Awards will be handed out across categories including Online Player of the Year, Performance of the Year and Hand of the Year, a brand new video award for the ceremony’s fifth edition. Some 13 categories have been decided by a public vote, from a shortlist drawn up by representatives of PokerNews, PokerStrategy, CalvinAyre.com, RankingHero.com, as well as Late Night Poker creator Nic Szeremeta and ‘Voice of Poker’ Jesse May.

Face to Face with Poker Heroes at the British Poker Awards

It's not often you get a chance to meet your favourite poker heroes face to face. Next week's British Poker Awards give us a chance to do just that -- and even take them on at the poker table for the chance to win a great prize!

This year’s British Poker Awards take place at London’s famous Hippodrome Casino next week (March 3rd).

 The British public have voted for the winner in a selection of categories, and 18 awards will be handed out on the night before attention turns to a special one-of-a-kind bounty tournament set up by Bluff Europe Magazine and the Hippodrome Casino. Five pros will have bounties on their heads, and whoever knocks them out will be rewarded with a seat in a satellite to the Hippodrome’s Spring Classic.

The overall winner of the tournament will go one better, earning themselves a seat directly into the Spring Classic itself. So if you’re in town and you love poker, there’s no excuse not to head on down to the Hippodrome next Monday for an unforgettable experience.
