Vote for your favourite poker players at The British Poker Awards

2014logo_160.pngVoting has opened for the fifth annual British Poker Awards, organised by Bluff Europe, which will celebrate some fantastic performances from the cream of the UK poker crop.

Among this year's nominees are LA Poker Classic winner Chris Moorman, double EPT champion Victoria Coren Mitchell and EPT Grand Final runner-up Jack Salter, as the Brits continue to hold their own against the world's best.

You can vote in more than a dozen categories, including Performance of the Year, Online Player of the Year and Live UK Tournament of the year. Head over to www.thebritishpokerawards.com to find out more, and to get a recap of the 2013 winners.

Not that you needed another incentive, but everyone who votes will be entered into a prize draw to win a year's free subscription to Bluff Europe Magazine, which is jam-packed with exclusive interviews with the best poker players around.

Keep your eyes peeled for updates about the date and venue for the British Poker Awards ceremony, which will give poker fans a chance to meet their favourite players in glamorous surroundings.

Face to Face with Poker Heroes at the British Poker Awards

It's not often you get a chance to meet your favourite poker heroes face to face. Next week's British Poker Awards give us a chance to do just that -- and even take them on at the poker table for the chance to win a great prize!

This year’s British Poker Awards take place at London’s famous Hippodrome Casino next week (March 3rd).

If you happen to be in the UK and love poker, then head over to the Hippodrome website to book yourself a place at the fantastic awards ceremony, where you can enjoy an exclusive cocktail party, live music, and of course plenty of poker. Some of the biggest names on the European poker scene will be there, like World Series of Poker bracelet winner Matt Perrins, PokerStars Team Online member Mickey Petersen and Run It Once pro Sam Grafton.

The British public have voted for the winner in a selection of categories, and 18 awards will be handed out on the night before attention turns to a special one-of-a-kind bounty tournament set up by Bluff Europe Magazine and the Hippodrome Casino. Five pros will have bounties on their heads, and whoever knocks them out will be rewarded with a seat in a satellite to the Hippodrome’s Spring Classic.

The overall winner of the tournament will go one better, earning themselves a seat directly into the Spring Classic itself. So if you’re in town and you love poker, there’s no excuse not to head on down to the Hippodrome next Monday for an unforgettable experience.
